Charles J. and Ruth C. Cawein Scholarship

Charles J. Cawein, the first student to apply and be accepted to Orange County Community College, and his wife Ruth C. (Wesley) Cawein, a former nursing department instructor, have established a scholarship for student(s) studying in the Healthcare Profession which includes: Medical Laboratory Technician, Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant and Radiologic Technology. Awarded annually to a full-time, Returning/Continuing student, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
